Area of Research: Catalysis (organometallic)

Research in the Getzler lab utilizes the theories and techniques of organic, inorganic and polymer chemistries in the design and use of catalytically active compounds.

Projects include:

  • macrocycle synthesis via ring-expansion polymerization
  • new pentavalent aminophenoxides
  • five-coordinate group 13 compounds with five-coordinate ligands
  • new metal alkoxides for ring-opening polyermizations (ROP)
  • activity of known metal alkoxides for ROP
