Area of Research: Catalysis (organometallic)
Research in the Getzler lab utilizes the theories and
techniques of organic, inorganic and polymer chemistries in the design
and use of catalytically active compounds.
Projects include:
- new pentavalent aminophenoxides
- five-coordinate group 13 compounds with five-coordinate ligands
- new metal alkoxides for ring-opening polyermizations (ROP)
- activity of known metal alkoxides for ROP
